Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler praised his team’s defensive performance after they crushed Chelsea at home.

Brighton earned revenge for a 3-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League on Friday, having beaten the London side 2-1 in the FA Cup last week.

The 3-0 win was the side’s second victory over The Blues เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง in less than a week, after they dumped Enzo Maresca’s side out of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win last Saturday.

Verbruggen was at fault for Chelsea’s opener in that fourth-round encounter, bundling Cole Palmer’s cross into his own net, and had also struggled in the damaging 7-0 Premier League defeat to Nottingham Forest the previous week.

“I’m happy with the team. I thought they defended well together and showed unity on the pitch. Overall, it was a good performance,” Hurzeler said.

As for the wonderful goal by Kaoru Mitoma, who received a long ball from Bart Verbruggen and pulled it down to shoot from the edge of the penalty area, Herzeler gave credit to the person who opened the ball.

“I think we have to talk about Bart Verbruggen, who made a mistake in the last game, who showed his true identity in this game and got an assist.”

“It was a great touch and a good one from Mitoma, but you always need someone to assist,” the German said.
