Newcastle United have completed the permanent signing of young left-back Lewis Hall, subject to conditions. After spending last season on loan at Chelsea.

Newcastle United have officially confirmed the permanent signing of Hall from Chelsea. With the deal set to be a long-term deal and no transfer fee for the 19-year-old left-back revealed UFABET

Hall, who can play at left-back or in central midfield, has made 22 appearances for Newcastle in the 2023-24 season. But has mostly been a substitute. Overall, he does not appear good enough for the Magpies to splash out £28m to make the move permanent. However, it is an unavoidable situation as it is a conditional offer.

Newcastle are reportedly set to pay Chelsea £28m plus £7m in add-ons to sign the 19-year-old on a permanent basis.

For Lewis Hall, he was originally a rising star in Chelsea’s academy having been given his first-team opportunity in 2022. Lewis has made 11 appearances for Chelsea. Including one as a starter, playing mostly at left-back. And was name the Blues’ Young Player of the Year at the end of the season.
